If you have a noisy toilet, then you should whether the water flow is restricted. If it is, then this could be the cause of the noise. The other thing that you should do is to check the ball cock assembly. This is the most likely reason for the noise.

• Before changing the ball cock assembly, flush the toilet first. After you have done this, cut off the water supply to the toilet temporarily.

• To change the ball cock assembly, simply remove the lid from the top of the toilet.

• Remove the ball cock assembly and install the new unit by following the instructions from the manufacturer.

• Restore the supply of water back to the toilet.
