Plumbing Tip #6: How to fix a leaking showerhead
If your showerhead leaks and water drips even though the shower has been turned off, chances are the washer or rubber gasket inside the showerhead needs to be replaced. This is nothing serious but just wear and tear due to regular use.

Steps:

• Use a wrench to unscrew the showerhead.

• Check the rubber parts inside to see if it is worn out.

• Remove the worn out rubber parts and go to a shop to purchase a new set.

• Show the item that needs to be replaced to the salesperson to avoid buying the wrong item. These parts may be of different sizes for different models.

• Put the new rubber gasket back into the showerhead and re-screw the showerhead.
